We are researchers at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and we are conducting a research study entitled “Career Needs of BIPOC Counseling Professionals: A Focus Group Study.” The study's purpose is to explore the needs of BIPOC Counseling Professionals in work settings and professional associations.

To be eligible for this study, you must identify with the following inclusion criteria:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must identify as a counseling student (Master's or doctoral)or professional (e.g., practicing counselor or counselor educator)
- Must identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC; this definition can include Black, African American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Latino/a/x, Native American, biracial, multiracial, Indigenous, and Alaska Native communities)
- Must be living in the United States
- Must have access to video and audio technology capabilities
If you choose to take part in this study, you willcomplete a 5–10-minute demographic questionnaire, one 60-minute semi-structured focus-group interview, and one informal member-check review of no more than 20 minutes. Focus groups will be separated into four categories: (1) Master Counseling Students, (2) Doctoral Counseling Students, (3) Practicing Counselors, and (4) Counselor Educators.
To compensate you for your time, we will provide a $15 Amazon gift card for completing all procedures: the demographic questionnaire, the semistructured focus group interview, and the member-check review. You will receive the gift card after completing all procedures.
