Study Title: Trauma and Secondary Traumatic Stress Among Counselor Trainees: The Moderation Roles of Faculty Support and Supervision Relationship
You are invited to participate in a survey that will take 15 minutes for my dissertation research study entitled "Trauma and Secondary Traumatic Stress Among Counselor Trainees: The Moderation Roles of Faculty Support and Supervision Relationship." (IRB-FY25-277).
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between exposure to trauma during their practicum or internship and secondary traumatic stress and the impact of the supervisory relationship and faculty support on this relationship among counselor trainees. Potential participants will be required to meet the following criteria:
1) at the age of 18 or older
2)A student in a CACREP-accredited master's level counseling program in the USA.
3) enrolled in a counseling practicum or internship course
4) must be physically located in the USA
Data collection will involve completing an online survey, which will take approximately 15 minutes.
