Dr. Kelly King has recently received a Research and Best Practice Grant from SACES (the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision).
Her funded project is called Process and Outcomes of a Skill-based Group for Counselors Committed to Anti-Racism. Dr. King is working with facilitators of a group for counselors in the Triangle Area to document how having critical, mindful discussions and implementing behavioral goals to address racism in mental health impact counselor's multicultural and social justice counseling competence.
