Kudos to Dr. Taheera Blount for hosting the North Carolina School Counselor Association 2024 Summer Academy at NCCU on Wednesday, June 19th!

From the NCCU School of Education, Dr. Jeffrey Warren (associate dean) spoke on college and career readiness.  Dr. Megan Lyons (Curriculum & Instruction) spoke on Social Emotional Learning for school counselors, and Dr. Blount, with nccuCounseling student D'Andrea Cooper, spoke on self-care strategies for school counselors.
