We are proud to formally announce the establishment of the Dr. William (Bill) ‘62 and Queen ‘61 Lawrence Endowed Scholarship at North Carolina Central University. This fund has been established as an enduring honor of the love, sweat equity and commitment of Bill and Queen to NCCU over the years.

This fund will provide a scholarship opportunity each year to an undergraduate student from Columbus County attending NCCU, with a preference for students enrolled in the School of Education.

If you are aware of anyone considering worthy causes to support with tax-deductible contributions, please feel free to share awareness of this new opportunity that will preferentially support natives of Columbus County for years to come. We hope that you will share in our pride as we celebrate the endearing efforts of Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence.
