I hope that you are doing well and that your fall semester is off to a good start. Please see the message below from Dr. Franco Dispenza, program coordinator for the Counselor Education and Practice program in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Georgia State University. We would love for you to share this with any of your master’s students who might be interested in learning more about our program. I have also attached flyers for the program and information sessions that Dr. Dispenza will be hosting this month.
The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) at Georgia State University is accepting qualified applicants for the 2023 cohort in our Counselor Education and Practice PhD program. Our PhD program is fully accredited by CACREP (http://www.cacrep.org/). Upon completion, many of our students accept positions as college and university professors, clinical supervisors, clinical and educational researchers, as well as community and administrative leaders.
This year we will be hosting two virtual interest sessions for those interested in our doctoral program. They will be held via Zoom on:
Wednesday, October 12th from 6:00-7:00
Friday, October 28th from 12:00-1:00
Consider joining us to learn more about our doctoral program, funding opportunities, application process, and future prospects as a counselor educator.
Applications are due December 1, 2022.
