Attached you will find a brochure that outlines features of the doctoral program in Counselor Education at UNCG; most recently ranked 6th among all Counselor Education program by U.S. News and World Report. Please feel free to distribute this information to your students and alumni who may be considering doctoral education.

Our doctoral program is CACREP accredited and involves a three-year developmental sequence of coursework, clinical practice, and research experience. Our graduates do very well on the job market as they are well prepared to move into positions as faculty members, clinical supervisors, and researchers. Traditionally, all Ph.D. Counseling students are awarded graduate assistantships, which are accompanied by a minimum $15,000 stipend as well as a tuition waiver each year.
