I wanted to share an exciting opportunity for your counseling students—the First-Year Counselor Essentials (FYCE) Fellowship—a program designed to give them hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development as they transition into the field.
The FYCE Fellowship goes beyond standard supervision, offering:
- Mentorship & Community– A supportive network of fellow new counselors
- Skill-Building & Resources– Practical tools to strengthen their confidence
- Career Growth Support– Guidance on creating a sustainable, effective practice
Practical support is important to us. Through the fellowship, counselors will receive regular group supervision and live continuing education credit (NBCC ACEP# 7234) allowing new LCMHCAs to have everything they need to be ready for their first licensure renewal.
You can find more details about the fellowship [here]. Let me know if you have any questions—I’d love to help support the next generation of counselors!
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Best,
BethBeth Vincent, PhD, LCMHC (she/her)
