Student Announcements

The North Carolina Career Development Association recognizes you as the future of the organization.  As a graduate student the annual NCCDA conference can serve as a significant contribution to your professional development.  NCCDA offers graduate student scholarships for the conference.

Qualifications
•    Current graduate student in North Carolina
•    Commitment to professional development
•    Availability to attend the Annual Conference on March 15  2025, in its entirety

Application Procedure
•    Complete this Google form by Monday, February 7, 2025
•    The scholarship recipient will be notified by February 10

•    The scholarship recipient will have until February 14 to accept the scholarship with the acknowledgement of their duties as a recipient.

Duties of Scholarship Recipient

• Share on social media (preferably LinkedIn) that you have been awarded a conference scholarship (image/verbiage will be provided)
• Attend the entire conference and participate in programs and breakout sessions
• Write a submission for the NCCDA newsletter (within one month of conference) describing your experience and what you learned

• Write 3 potential social media posts highlighting conference takeaways that we can use to promote future conferences or professional development events

Benefits for Scholarship Recipient
•    Conference Registration Fee (NOTE: If you register for the conference and are then awarded a scholarship, you will receive a refund)
•    Conference Mentor
