Summer School
If you are taking any classes this summer, it is recommended that you review the textbook list. Go ahead and attempt to get your textbooks BEFORE your class begins. Summer classes move very quickly, and you do not want for class to start and not have your book(s).
- Summer Session 1: May 21 - June 24
- Summer Session 2: June 27 - July 26
- Dual Session: May 21 - July 26
REMINDER: Deadline to Withdraw - Date has been extended
April 18th is the deadline to withdraw from a class for the spring semester.
Safe Zone Virtual Training

Description:
Safe Zone - Language surrounding the LGBTQ+ community consistently changes. This training begins with an introduction to the usage of pronouns, common terminology, and ways to be an effective ally to members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Two CMHC Students Winners of NCCU Graduate Research Symposium
Congratulations to Melinda Hobbs and Elias Mohr, Clinical Mental Health Counseling students. Melinda is an Eagle Counseling Clinic intern and Elias is the clinic’s Graduate Assistant. They won the research poster award for the School of Education at NCCU’s Graduate/Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 6th. The title of the study they were presenting is: Examining Client Access, Satisfaction, and Wellness at NCCU’s Eagle Counseling Clinic.

Nu Chi Chi, NCCU's Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (Counseling Honor Society), would like to welcome everyone to the Spring 2024 semester. You may recall that over the past academic year, Nu Chi Chi hosted monthly virtual social hours for the counseling program. The chapter plans to continue these events throughout the Spring 2024 semester. These events will continue to occur on the 4th Sunday of every month, from 7:00-8:00pm (ET). These events are open to all students and faculty and provide a space for us to get to know & support each other while building community. If you're available – we'd love to see you. Pop in and say hello!
