As of September 2023, School Counseling graduates and candidates for NC Department of Public Instruction licensure please know you must now take the Praxis Exam 5422 (School Counselor) for licensure to be a school counselor in NC. Please you this link for more information https://www.ets.org/pdfs/praxis/5422.pdf. This exam replaces the previously used Praxis 5421 (Professional School Counselor).
