Canvas!
As you have probably heard, NCCU is changing "learning management systems", also known as LMSs. We changed from Blackboard to Canvas at the end of June.
Some instructors have been piloting Canvas over the last academic year, so some students may already have some familiarity with Canvas.
All courses offered during the second summer session (and later) will be delivered via Canvas.
- Summer session 1: Blackboard or Canvas
- Summer session 2: Canvas
- Dual summer session: Canvas
- Fall 2023 (and beyond): Canvas
Textbooks
Don't forget that textbook information is ALWAYS available on the Program's website: http://www.nccucounseling.com/student2/index.php/course-info/textbook-list-sheet
Unless you have to purchase through the University bookstore, please feel free to order your texts through whichever site you choose. Just make sure that you will receive them before your courses begin. Most courses will have reading assignments within the first week of school.
