Navigating the Licensure Process

About the webinar:
In this session, we will discuss the process and procedures of becoming licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Associate and eventually Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. This session will focus on discussing the National Counseling Examination (NCE) and the National Clinical Mental Health Exam (NCMHCE), the application process, the jurisprudence exam, the licensure affidavit, the disclosure statement, the supervision contract, reciprocity, and the Counseling Compact. We will have a conversation about this process, the dos, and don’ts of this process.

The Grand Opening of the Eagle Counseling, Consultation, and Research Clinic
The grand opening of the Eagle Counseling, Consultation, and Research Clinic was a success. Many thanks to Dr. Lupton-Smith, Malaika Edwards, GA Kevin Eason, and practicum students Victoria Brown, Nisha Umesh, and April Fjeld. Thanks also to everyone who joined us for this celebration.
Student Social
Nu Chi Chi, NCCU's Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, will host the last virtual Social Hour for the Fall Semester this coming Sunday, November 27th, from 7:00-8:00pm (EST). Social Hours will resume again in January. These events are open to all students and faculty in the counseling program. Remember, these events occur on the 4th Sunday of every month, from 7:00-8:00pm (EST).
If you're available – we'd love to see you. We've enjoyed spending time with you throughout the semester, and we hope these events have provided a fun way to engage and build community. We hope to see everyone Sunday!
