The NCCU Counselor Education Program is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Horne will be joining the faculty in January.  Dr. Moody, chair of the Department of Allied Professions praised the Search Committees selection of Dr. Horne saying, “Dr. Horne brings many qualities to the program.  We are especially pleased that he will allow the program to offer online substance abuse courses where students can pursue certification as Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists in North Carolina.”  Dr. Peggy Whiting, counselor education program coordinator said, “Dr. Horne’s variety of experiences will be invaluable to our students.”  Dr. Horne has earned degrees from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Duke University, North Carolina Central University and North Carolina State University.  Please welcome him to NCCU.
