I am currently accepting LCMHCA supervisees and welcome referrals from counseling programs, faculty, and academic departments.
I am Lawanna D. Brown, MS, LCMHCS, Founder and Clinical Supervisor of Progressing through Therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) approved by the NCBLCMHC, I provide individual clinical supervision designed to support newly graduated master’s-level clinicians and associate professionals as they work toward independent licensure.
My supervision approach is structured, collaborative, and growth-focused - emphasizing clinical confidence, case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, treatment planning, diagnostic skills, professional development, and insurance/documentation knowledge. Supervision also includes intentional reflection on the realities of clinical work, professional boundaries, and the development of strong ethical practice within today’s mental health landscape.
In addition to individual supervision, supervisees benefit from in-house supervision and clinical training opportunities held on Mondays and Tuesdays, creating additional space for mentorship, consultation, and professional growth.
Supervision Details
• Individual Clinical Supervision: $75 per session
• In-Person Supervision (Preferred)
• Virtual Option Available (Upon Request)
