My name is Javier Ponce, a Doctoral Candidate pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education at Florida Atlantic University. I am asking for assistance with my IRB-approved research study # IRB2402058, entitled Wellness Among BIPOC Counselors-in-Training: Mediation impact on stress and burnout. I am conducting this research under the supervision of Dr. Carman Gill, Counselor Education Department.
 
This study seeks to compare the levels of stress, burnout, and wellness between BIPOC master's counseling students and norm samples and examine the potential mediation impact of wellness on the relationship between stress and burnout among BIPOC master's counseling students. You are invited to complete a 45-minute anonymous survey. Please see the attached dissertation flyer.

Seeking volunteers who meet these requirements:

  • 18 years or older;
  • Identify as BIPOC and be in their second or third year of their master’s counseling program; and
  • Currently enrolled in a CACREP-accredited program
