Congratulations to Dr. Karlesia Montague, Assistant Professor of Counselor Education, who has been awarded a $128,641 grant from the NC Collaboratory for her project titled, "Addressing Opioid Use among Youth and Young Adults in Wake County".This project aims to address the misuse of opioids by the youth population of Wake County through the use of youth focus groups to identify the needs, challenges, and barriers faced by this population, allowing the county to support the health of future generations.
