Registration - Summer and Fall


time to registerRegistration for the summer and fall semesters opened on March 17th.  Please register now if you have not already done so.

Don't forget that ALL summer offerings are subject to faculty availability during the summer.  No summer courses are guaranteed - as no faculty are obligated to teach during the summer months.  

We have added some (hopefully) helpful information on the student website regarding course sequencing here.  There is information on:

Campus students should not enroll in a course online when it is offered on campus in any other semester.  If a class is ever ONLY offered online, then an on-campus student may take the online version of the course.  Online students should not enroll in any on-campus course.

 



Fall Residencies


CON 5351: Group Counseling
For those students taking CON 5351 in the fall semester, you will have a required residency on November 17-18, 8:30am-5pm each day.

CON 5371: Pre-Practicum Counseling Skills
For those students taking CON 5371 in the fall, you will have a required residency either October 28-29 or October 30-31. Specific dates are found below.

"Finding Your Leadership Voice: A Roadmap for New Counseling Professionals"

Dr. Erik MessingerDr. Erik Messinger is a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina, a nationally certified counselor (NCC), and an approved clinical supervisor (ACS). Specializing in dual diagnosis, he has extensive experience in counseling adults and adolescents in outpatient community and substance use treatment settings. He currently is the program director for the Counseling M.S program at Hood College. Focused on service to the counseling profession, he currently serves as the membership chair for the Maryland Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (MACES). Dr. Messinger also serves with Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) as the chair of the Professional Members Committee and is a chapter faculty advisor for the Eta Chi chapter at Hood College.
