Want to take the Comprehensive Exam ("Comps") this Spring or Summer?

Are you taking practicum in the spring or summer of 2025 and have not completed the CPCE (Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Exam)? A passing score on the CPCE (commonly called comps) is required for graduation.  The spring CPCE testing window is March 10-21, 2025.

Go to NCCUcounseling.com>students>Comprehensive Exam>CPCE registration interest and all the information you need is provided. Use this Google survey to begin the process.  Why complete the survey?  This allows Dr. Barrow to endorse you for testing on campus, close to home or even at home and to send you customized directions for testing after you are endorsed. Please use the link below for more information, including a link to the Google survey. Deadline is February 20, 2025

Recruiting Graduate Student Volunteers for the NCCA Conference

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to request your assistance in recruiting graduate student volunteers for the upcoming NCCA 2025 Counseling Conference: Empowering Counselors: Nurturing Holistic Wellness Through Trauma-Informed Care, which will take place February 27-March 1 in Charlotte, NC.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with the professional counseling community while supporting the success of our annual conference. As an added benefit, students who commit to one full day of volunteer service will receive $100 off the two-day registration fee.

Here's the discounted rate breakdown:
Student NCCA Members: $50; Student Non-Members: $75.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your students.

Thanks for your support, and I look forward to seeing you in Charlotte!

Warm regards,
