Counseling Fellowships - TODAY is the Last Day to Apply

 

The NBCC Foundation is pleased to announce the application period for the 2024 National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program (NBCC MFP).

Up to 95 doctoral- and master’s-level counseling fellowships are available for current counseling students.

Fellowship award amounts range from $12,000 to $22,000 and include fellowships in the following categories:

The MFP is made possible by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and is administered by the NBCC Foundation. The MFP for addictions counseling fellowships are administered by the NBCC Foundation in collaboration with NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.

The application deadline for all awards is Sept. 30, 2024.  VIEW OPPORTUNITIES

Spring Semester 2025


Registration for the spring semester should begin on October 16 (the day we return from fall break).  If you have not already scheduled a time to meet with your advisor, please do so.

It is recommended that you attempt to register as soon as you are able to do so. Some classes may fill quickly.

Our goal is to help you move through the program at a steady rate, but it may not always be at the pace in which you thought you could go.  Some classes may fill early, and you may need to adjust your schedule a bit.  Some classes may be offered in a mode (online or on-campus) in which you can not take during a given semester, so you may need to adjust your plan/schedule with your advisor and take it the next time it is offered in your needed mode.

Keep in mind that any plan you develop with your advisor is always subject to change based on course availability.

LCCNC Graduate Student Memberships

Starting this fall, LCCNC is pleased to offer FREE student memberships, making it easier than ever for students to become part of our professional community.

In response to the growing needs of counselors in North Carolina, LCCNC is expanding its efforts to provide even greater resources and opportunities.
